1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScriptLens. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. App Description

ScriptLens is a native iOS teleprompter and video recorder designed for content creators, influencers, educators, and anyone who records talking-head videos. You can write a script, see it scroll over the live camera feed while you record, review the take, and export the finished video directly to your photo library or share it. The App supports adjustable scroll speed, text size, text width, text position, multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 4:5, 16:9), front/back camera toggle, torch control, zoom, configurable countdown, and pause/resume recording. The App offers both free features and a premium subscription (“ScriptLens Pro”) that unlocks unlimited scripts, 4K recording, and watermark-free exports.

3. Creative Tool Disclaimer

ScriptLens is a creative and productivity tool. It is NOT professional broadcasting equipment, and it does NOT guarantee broadcast-quality output.

The App is designed for general-purpose teleprompter use and video recording across use cases such as social media content, educational videos, presentations, and personal projects. Any exported videos are user-generated content created from your own recordings.

We are not responsible for how you use or distribute exported content. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of exported videos complies with applicable laws and respects the rights and privacy of others.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• ScriptLens Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual), purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
• The free tier is limited to 1 script, 1080p export resolution, and includes a watermark on exported content.
• Pro subscribers get unlimited scripts, 4K export resolution, and watermark-free output.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the cost of the chosen plan.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, or through the App Store.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Free trial eligibility, pricing, and terms are as displayed at the time of purchase and are subject to Apple's terms.
• We do not process payments directly. All billing is handled by Apple. Refund requests should be directed to Apple Support.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, content, trademarks, and logos are the property of Bluebry Oy and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the App.

6. User Content

You retain full ownership of all scripts, recordings, and content you create within the App. We do not claim any rights over your content. Since all content is stored locally on your device, we never have access to it.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
• Use exported content in a manner that violates any applicable law or infringes on the rights of others.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.bluebry.com/scriptlens/privacy. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to our data practices as described therein.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Exported videos will meet any specific quality or accuracy standard.
• Defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bluebry Oy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for ScriptLens Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bluebry Oy from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Finnish or European Union law.
