How do I cancel or manage my subscription?+
ScriptLens Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. You can also manage it directly from this link. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase?+
Open ScriptLens, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
What's the difference between free and Pro?+
The free tier lets you create 1 script and export at 1080p with a watermark. Pro subscribers get unlimited scripts, export at 4K, and all exports are watermark-free. Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription.
How does the teleprompter work?+
When you start a recording, your script scrolls over the live camera feed so you can read it while looking at the lens. You can adjust scroll speed (1–10), text size (16–48pt), text width (50–100%), and text position (center or near the lens) before or during recording.
Is my data shared or stored on a server?+
No. ScriptLens stores all data — including your scripts and recorded videos — locally on your device. There are no user accounts, no third-party analytics, and no server-side storage. Your content never leaves your device unless you choose to export and share it.
What aspect ratios are supported?+
ScriptLens supports three aspect ratios: 9:16 (vertical, for Reels/TikTok/Shorts), 4:5 (Instagram), and 16:9 (landscape, for YouTube). The selected crop is baked into the exported video so it's ready to upload with no additional editing.
Can I pause during recording?+
Yes. Tap the pause button to pause both the video recording and the teleprompter scroll at the same time. When you resume, both pick up exactly where you left off so you never lose your place in the script.
